  • Charnwood LTC Mixed Doubles Championships, 3 Sept 2017

The third of September saw a great turn out for the mixed club championships! The weather even held out despite some windy patches. A lot of matches were played throughout the day with a great atmosphere on the courts and in the clubhouse. What a lovely day!   • CLTC Club championships round up, September 2016

Caroline and Sue victorious in the Ladies Doubles, whilst Chris piped Alex in a tie break in the Men's Singles.

Lucy wins the Ladies singles title beating Michaela in the final, whilst Mike and James squeak a win over Mike and Chris in the Men's doubles winning the tie break 8-6. 

Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all of you who entered!

Thank you also to people who baked and brought cakes for us to share, and a special thank you to Mike and Sue for their work on the format and scoring of all the matches, and Catherine for all the hard work in organising.

A wonderful day was had by all. There was a great atmosphere at the club and some beautiful weather to make it even better. Thanks for getting involved.

  • Charnwood Borough Primary Schools tennis tournaments

Charnwood Tennis Club recently hosted the Charnwood Borough Primary Schools tennis tournaments in connection with the school games. Both events had a fantastic turn out from the local schools and it was great to see so many young people playing tennis.
